Bad things, good things, all depends on the point of view.

'Well, that's done, for the moment,' Ahrach answered, looking downwards at his black pants. He hid his feet, and scratched the ground using one claw. Dirt rised as he did so. He put his arms behind his back, his golden eyes glistening.

"For the moment. The prophecy is embedded within our skin. Sometimes it forces us to do things, like Shadow and myself running off like that." Raven said.

'I understand,' Ahrach answered quietly. He lowered his head, his bangs covering his forehead. His hair swayed gently with the small wind. His golden glistening eyes closed, and he thought. He thought about what he could do to prevent this prophecy. He knew that it could not be undone, that it was already under way, but he couldn't think of anything else.

Raven closed her eyes.
"Shadow's going to die, but I'm going to live..." She said softly.

Ahrach couldn't figure out if that was a good or bad thing. Raven probably hated her sister, because she accepted to do the loyal fight in the first place to bring back Shadow to Synairn, and then again, Shadow was her family. Ahrach thought deeply, and admitted that, in his case, he would understand it as a bad thing.

Raven sighed.
"We should move before he catches up with us." She said, and gently used a heel to ask Merlas to move on.

Ahrach nodded, and followed Raven. His bird-like feet crunched at the small patches of grass they loomed upon. His golden eyes squinted as the walked through spots of lights. He firmly gripped at his daggers hilt, and he glanced right and left, in case someone was near. Ahrach sighed, noticing nobody, and he looked back at Raven.

- Sorry, had to feed the dogs, back now -

Raven tried hard not to look back at Ahrach, trying to sort through everything in her mind. It wasn't going to well. The wounds to her chest and stomach twinged in main as she shifted her potision on Merlas' back.

Ahrach walked calmly by Raven's side, hand on the handle of his dagger. He kept on glancing left and right, then gazed at Raven again. He closed his eyes, but kept calking, his pants sliding slightly against the dirty ground, sweeping the littlest of rocks.

- I have to take the dogs out. I'll be back in about an hour. -

--Kay, see ya in one hour.--

Raven allowed herself to be lulled by the mare's steady gait. She rested her head on the mare's neck again, closing her eyes. She was tired, so tired after the fight with Val Keshra and then with Karthragan.

Ahrach looked at Raven carefully close her eyes. He was tired too, at this time of the day. But he had other thoughts to be worried about. He flicked at the daggers' hilt. His eyes whipped from left to right. He was extremely precautious.

Vrael was relieved when he saw Merlas picking her way towards them through the trees, Ahrach at her side and Raven on her back. He ran over, feet hardly making a sound on the forest floor.
"What came to pass?" He asked, concerned, directing his question at Ahrach after he saw that Raven has fallen asleep.

'A someone named Karthragan,' Ahrach answered. He looked at Vrael's silvery eyes. He then looked at Raven, but did not change emotion. He sat down next to a tree. 'He's trying to find us and Shadow.' Ahrach continued.
Val Keshra stared blankly at Kaera, and Kaera nodded. Kaera went up to Vrael. 'Well, it was great meeting you, but now we have to go.' Kaera turned to Val Keshra, and then back to Vrael. 'See you someday later, I guess,'
She then turned around, and started walking on a different path, Val Keshra following.

Vrael swore.
"Karthragan? No, it is too soon, he must not be here!"

-Lolwhat, Karthragan swore to himself. Nice one, Roth.--

Ahrach raised his eyebrows.
'Well, looks like he is here. If it's that bad, we better get moving now, and fast.' Ahrach took his scythe, and arranged it onto his back. He then continued on the path, up front. He had one hand on the hilt of his dagger, and one hand, hidden by his sleeve, tightened against the scythe.

- *headdesks and then edits* -

Vrael maintained a scowl on his face, but followed Ahrach, one hand on Merlas' neck. He tried to think about what Karthragan was doing on Earth now.

Ahrach wondered who Karthragan really was. Why did he have four red pupils? Why did he need a cloak? DID he need a cloak? Multiple questions fill Ahrach's mind. Ahrach tried answering a few himself, but the rest were left unanswered, as he didn't know the real, true answer, and could only give suppositions.

Vrael walked silently, watching Raven. The demoness stirred slightly before she woke up, opening her eyes slowly. She grimaced as she pushed herself up, her broken arm still held close to her.

Ahrach looked back at Raven, smiled slightly, and then turned forwards again. His golden eyes glistened again, and his hair fluttered with the slow breeze, along with his long clothing. He watched the trees shake and turn, and he watched the leaves do their slow, morbid dance.

Raven pulled her cloak further around her, shivering slightly. Vrael unclipped his own cloak, reaching up to put it around her shoulders.

Ahrach continued on the path. His eyesight was great, but his hearing and smell were left to desire. He could perceive the smallest movement on the smallest object, but couldn't hear someone talking normally right next to him correctly. He rather depended on his sight, though, instead of his smell and hearing. He felt relaxed and serene, but cautious.

Merlas' hooves thudded softly on the forest floor whereas Vrael made no sound what so ever. Merlas suddenly stopped, ears pricked, head up, sniffing the air, standing stock still.

Ahrach turned around as Merlas stopped. He started unsheathing his dagger. He glanced left and right. It's true. Something was wrong here. But he couldn't find it.
'What's wrong, Merlas? What did you sense?'
Ahrach's eyes darted here and there. Still nothing.
