Never Alone

She stares through the open window,
Silent tears sliding down her pretty face,
Burden upon burden layed down upon her life,
I watch her, from a place behind cold glass...my heart going out to her,
I watch her, tears in my own eyes,
So close, yet so far away,
She seems near enough to reach out,
and put a comforting hand on her shoulder,
And reassure her...tell her that it'll all be ok...
That someday things will change,
That I will always be there for her,
To catch her when she falls,
That to me...she isn't just a shadow in the corner of my life...

She means so much more to me...
So much more...
I'll always be there for you Jenn...


So different...yet so alike...

It was to be that we met that day,
I know it was,
You lead a charmed life,
Often...I am the opposite,
You are respected by everyone,
Again...the opposite in my life has been made evident,
You make it seem like such a breeze...
And yet I know you care...
It elates me to know,
That you are there to take care of me,
Making every day of my life an adventure,
It can be said that...you pretty much rock Hannah...

Black Day

Haunted am I...with a negative feeling,
Dread, Jealousy, Depression,
Yet...I do not know where this has come from,
Or where...or what....it will lead to,
Am I a figment of peoples crude imaginations?
Am I really here at all?
Do I really exist?
Or an I just a ghost...of a person who used to be...

WHAT HURTS THE MOST

MORE THAN ANGER,
MORE THAT HATE,
WHY ARETHINGS ALWAYS SO UNGREAT
DAMN MY LIFE,
AND DAMN MY WORLD,
OF THIS SAD, PATHETIC LITTLE GIRL!

NIGHT AFTER NIGHT I SLAVE AWAY,
AND YET I STILL HEAR OTHERS SAY,
"YOU ARE THE WORST!" AND "GO TO HELL!"
I JUST WANT TO BREAK THROUGH THIS SHELL!
AND BE ABLE TO SET THE REAL ME FREE,
SO PEOPLE ACCEPT IT, AND THEY'LL SEE!
THE THINGS THE ONLY FRIENDS I CARE ABOUT NOTICE,
HANNAH AND JENN SEEMS TO SEE IT!

AND YET...I OFTEN CAN'T TALK TO THEM,
BECAUSE I AM OUT...EVERY BLOODY NIGHT,
AND AS YOU CAN SEE...I AM SICK OF RHYMES...
AND I JUST WANT THE REAL MESSAGE TO COME THROUGH TONIGHT,
IF THINGS DON'T IMPROVE...I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'LL DO...
IT'LL TAKE ALOT OF RESTRAINING ME...FROM HANNAH AND JENN...
I MIGHT SLAP THE NEXT PERSON THAT CROSSES ME...

HARD...

AND NOT JUST IN MY MIND AS USUAL...

Poor Luce

Coming to the Lord

I walked across the corridor,
And down the steep stone stair,
Dowb through the cold dark meadow,
Yet no-one one gave a care.

I sat in my favourite corner,
Reading a big old book,
That no-one else seemed interested in,
No-one cared to look.

And now I remember clearly,
All the things I learned that day,
That Bible made me Christian,
As hard that night I prayed.

Then people started noticing me,
As I spoke the Lords word,
And I would always tell them,
"THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD..."

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD...IS HE YOURS?

Empty

I cry until I'm empty,
I cry each day and night,
I cry my tears of sadness,
To cry...without srength or might.

I cry about my school 'friends,'
And I cry about broken rules,
But I never ever thought,
I'd be crying about you...
