The Hostage

Natalie Patterson stood, wand over a small torch at the top of Mount Blanc...trying to ignite the tip.

"HURRY UP!" yelled the man...who had not revealed himself, name or otherwise, to Natalie's knowledge. He has kidnapped her...and brought her here for a perpose that she wasn't sure of.

Natalie's hand began to shake.

"I'M BLOODY WELL TRYING!" she screamed, trying once again to ignite her wand.

The man finally lost what patience he had left and pushed Natalie aside. She fell to the ground. The man kicked her several times, then took her wand from her.

Natalie began to sob.

"She'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes..." Holly sang under her breath, "She'll be comin round the- OI!"
She pulled herself behind a corner of the cliff to watch Natalie.
As soon as she caught her eye she mouthed, "WHAT THE?"

Shadow appeared on the tip of the mountain, having recieved a distress call.
"LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE YOU EEJIT!"

Natalie sobbed.

"Don't...don't yell at him," she cried, "he'll only...h-hurt me again..."

Afraid of the man, Holly instantly pulled Shadow back so that she stood with her on the edge of the cliff.
"We're serious," she called, "Leave her alone ... and we dont hurtcha..."
She caught Natalies eye again and motioned for her to walk towards them.

"No...no..." stammered Natalie. It was all she could get out.

The man groaned.

"You called them...you actually called them...I thought you were supposed to be brave!" he spat at Natalie.

Natalie whimpered as he hit her again.

"No, a distress call is automatic, even if the person sending it is not aware of it happening." Shadow pointed out.

"There will be no need for a-spittin!" Holly yelled, and fumbled with her wand.
"STUPEFY!" she sent at the man.

Shadow summoned her own magic, firing it at the man.

"Nice," Holly commented, and sent another few hexes at him for good measure.

The man was too fast for them...he wiped out all the spells with a wave of his wand.

"The more you hurt me...the slower and more painful your little friend's death will be!" the man yelled, sneering.

Her kicked Natalie again, and she let out a cry of pain.

Shadow stood in front of Natalie.
"You're going to have to go through me first." She growled.

"And me," Holly commented, "And I have more fat on me, so there....atch!"

The man looked at the two and sneered.

"Please...what are two little girls going to do to me?" he spat, snarling.

"Girls?!" Shadow spat in disgust. "Don't make me laugh!"

The man leered.

"Yes girls....horrid...disgusting...little girls," her sneered.

Natalie kicked his legs from behind...and he fell the the ground.

"How DARE you!" the man yelled, hitting her again.

"S'cuse me, but we happen to be a DEMONESS and ... a little girl..." Holly corrected.

Shadow allowed her eyes to flicker red and roundhouse kicked the man before teleporting Natalie away on her own to Shadow's place.

Natalie sighed with relief.

"Am...am I alone?" Natalie asked, look9ing around.

"Umm......" Holly said, finding herself now alone with the man.
"Hello..." she said slowly, and for good measure, kicked him in the place she once kicked Connor that made him scream like a girl. Hannah and Lucy laughed. What fun they have.

Lucy grinned with Hannah.

Elsewhere, Natalie called out again.

Holly debated for a minute, kicked the man again, and apparated next to Natalie and Shadow.
"WOULD YOU SHUT UP!" she demanded Natalie, "YOURE HURTING MY EARS!"

Natalie frowned.

"Did you kick him in the place? YOU'VE LEFT SHADOW! SHE SENT ME ALONE!" Natalie yelled.

Shadow watched the man, her arms folded, not in the least intimidated.
Worry not about me. She thought to Natalie. I am not easily killed.

Natalie frowned as Shadow's words filled her mind.


No Shadow...you have no idea what he's capable of...I don't even want to say what he did to me...
