Memory Lane (Shadow and Holly)

"Then don't disguise it as a dictionary next time." Archangel said.

Holly glanced at Onyx.
"Where is it now?" she asked sighing heavily.

"We put it back where we found it." Onyx said, offended.

"How decent of you," Holly said, only half sarcastically, "Im just worried about your minds ... y'know .... explicit stuff in there ...."

"We know." Archangel and Onyx said in unison.
"Very graphic by the way..." Archangel said with an evil glitter in her eyes.

Holly gave Archangel a half smile.
"Maybe I should be a writer eh?" she asked, then smoothed her features out, "But we will never speak of this again."

Archangel nodded, but she still had the evil look in her eyes.
"I wonder if he's figured it out yet..." Onyx said thoughtfully.

"Who?" Holly asked, chewing her gum thoughtfully.

I dunno where the gum came from.
Im just a writer.

"Him." Onyx said jerking her head towards the room they had come from.

"What's he meant to be figuring out....?" Holly asked, "You have to remember, I was out here with him the whole time."
She jerked her head in Bond's direction.

"Hol, figuring out what the twins did..." Shadiw said.

"I catch on to things a little late," Holly said sadly, then she grinned,.
"So, what do I do with this one?"
Bond whimpered.
"Let me go! That would be nice!"

"Or we could torture him a bit..." Archangel said with a grin.
"Stop those thoughts right now Arc." Shadow warned.

Holly too, had been having similar thoughts, and she crushed these out.
"Being a mother has made you sensible," she said moodily.

"I don't want them turning out like an earlier version of HIM." Shadow said pointing to the room Voldemort was in.

"See, sense," Holly said in a totally different tone, "Listen to your mother folks, she's right ... albeit, a little annoying."

Shadow sighed, sitting down with her back against a wall.

Holly's smile faded slightly.
"He wont be bothering us anymore," she said, trying to assure herself and the others, "Neither of them will..."

Shadow nodded slowly, and the twins looked at each other, vanishing home again.

"Where do they go?" Holly asked thoughtfully, "When they arent with you where are they?"

"They stay in Synairn during the summer, and Hogwarts during the school year." Shadow said.

"I see," Holly said, and absently flicked Bond on the nose, "You okay Shad...?"

"Just tired." Shadow said.

"Me too..." Holly said, thinking back, "It has been a looooong day...."

Sure enough, the last time they had slept (or been drugged) was at the old woman's house.

Shadow sighed.
"Fancy going back to my... cave... and trying to get some sleep?"
