Hogwarts: Next Generation

Tomorrow Shadow Holly Patterson sat in a compartment on the Hogwarts express, waving out the window at her mother.
"Goodbye Mother!" she called, waving wildly, cheeks flushed read with excitement.

Ashton Mason Bristol bit his lip, looking out of the window of the compartment on the Hogwarts Express.
"Don't get any young girls in trouble," Holly continued through the window, "And write to me yeah?"
"Course," Ashton said smiling, "See you mum."
"Laters babe," Holly said, and winked.

Natalie winked at Ash.
"Be good...no de-bagging Tomorrow using magic or otherwise," she sighed, grinning.
"Yeah Ashton..." said Tomorrow, going red.

Holly shoved Natalie.
"He wouldn't do that!" she said rolling her eyes, "Would you Ash?"
"Yeah," Ashton said, not understanding, "I mean ... no?"
Holly nodded.
"Good lad."

"He would..." muttered Tomorrow.
She smiled and kissed her mother out the window of the train as it was pulling off.
"BYE!" she called, waving.
"Study hard...be safe...brush your teeth...comb your hair...feed your owl!" yelled Natalie, waving.

Shadow appeared on the plateform with four kids in tow. The two seventh years, Archangel and Onyx with their younger cousins, the first years Eyla and Tyra. Raven's girls were identical, with her violet hair and eyes.
"On, look after Rae's kids, Arc, don't prank them. Understood?" All four nodded and leapt onto the train, grinning and waving.

"Hey kids..." said Natalie, smiling at them, "Archangel...Onyx...please keep an eye on Tomorrow...will you?" Natalie asked, "and Ashton..."

"TACKLEMENT!" Holly yelled and flew into the back of Shadow.
"Afternoon you," she said smiling and picking herself up.

"We will!" Archangel and Onyx chorused back.

"Holly...you complete idiot..." said Natalie fondly.

"I don't need lookin' after!" Ashton said, "Do I?"
He looked at Tomorrow.
"Mum says you're smart, you tell me!"

"Yes Ash...you do..." said Tomorrow, "you're quite an idiot..."
"Now Tomorrow...." said Natalie, "behave."
"I will mother, "said Tomorrow, flashing Natalie a metallic style.
"And Dr West will come four weeks from today to tighten your braces," said Natalie, smiling.
"Aw man..." said Tomorrow, "can I not fix them by magic."
"Magic must never be used for-" Natalie began, but Tomorrow cut in with, "selfish or trivial ends."
"Very good...now...what time is it?" Natalie asked, looking at her watch, "five too...ok...almost time."

"Yer ma," Holly and Ashton said in unison to the "What time is it?" question.
Holly snorted and high-fived him.

Natalie smiled slightly.
"I guess it's almost it..." said Natalie, sighing.
"They're gonna hate me at Hogwarts..." sighed Tomorrow.
"No they won't..." said Natalie, smiling slightly.

Holly and Ashton rolled there eyes.
"Never a happy moment with you people is there?" Holly muttered under her breath.

"Rarely..." muttered Natalie quietly.
Tomorrow smiled slightly.

"Ash, be good." Holly commented, "Not Nat good, .... better than Holly good .... Y'know bro."

"Eyla, no taking after your mother and teleporting behind teachers, same goes for you Tyra." Shadow said. "And I'll see you in the holidays, all four of you. Keep in touch. Onyx, you did remember to tell Nightstrike where you were going?"
"Yes mother."
"Good."

Natalie kissed her daughter and nephew again, taking a tissue and wiping around Tomorrow's mouth fussily.
"Mu-um...I'm fine," said Tomorrow, smiling all the same.
"You remember to write to me every week...and don't forget...I'll be proud of you...no matter what house you're in."
"I do not mind at all what I'm in either..." said Tomorrow, grinning at the adults, "they all make very noble pupils."

"Roth Roth Roth, I always knew you'd make an awesome mother .... " Holly commented, forgetting she had known this for .... ever.

Hayley appeared with a loud bang. "Wow," she said, dazzled by the number of children. "Guys," she said, "Um...." a small silver haired, pale skinned girl walked out from behind Hayley. "This is Winter," she said, "My daughter..."

"Sick." Holly commented absently, and turned to Hayley, "Sorry what?"

Winter grinned. "Holly," she said, sticking out her tongue. "It's been a while," Hayley laughed. "Got all your things?" Hayley asked her daughter. Winter nodded, and high-fived her.

"Indeed," Holly said, and 'pretended she knew Winter' in the words of Karen.

Ashton blushed at the sight of Winter and looked away.
She had ketchup on her face.
