Critique desperately needed over here

So this is a drawing I started a small 20 minutes ago.. I'm stuck and can't get further.. And on top of that is that I suspect I'm currently drawing Diaes.. (Sorry, Whilaroo, for ruining your character)

Hnn.. Quick horse.. I just realize that the quality in jpg is a lot worse than in ptg.. But okay.. Is normal I guess..

Erm. What do you use? The effects and such on that horse look great, although the drawing has a few flaws...

Your "Diaes" looks okay, the hand and face are what look better, as some people have trouble drawing those things... And the second face, I really like that one... Hrm, I'll have to startworking on faces more, your getting too much better than me...

Also, I noticed you draw fast, I draw VERY slowly... Like, some things take me 3 hours... You did that first one in 20 mins. -_-

I paint in ArtRage, seeing as I don't have anything else. For the horse I only used airbrush and some layers. It was in fact the first drawing I made in that program.. Hmm.. Maybe you have noticed it too then, but its throat isn't completely alright (altough I know horses with similar anatomy), the moon & stars are strange.. At the moment, I'm too lazy to really finish it..

Oh, but most things I draw rather fast in the beginning, I know myself so I realize I will eventually lose interest. That way I kind of cheat on myself and have a little bit more time to paint until I become bored and lose patience.. lol

Mmm... I just went to ArtRage's website... The program looks very nice, I'll definitely be purchasing it soon.

Human Faces / Diaes:
They're good! Keep up the work. I certainly like how you display the colors and shading on the character, even though I cannot see the 'Diaes' inside. Maybe that's because I saw a sprite of Diaes, so, it doesn't really look like it.
For the critique, the shoulders are fairly large, maybe just a tad smaller would be good. Even though it is a male man property to have huge shoulders, they shouldn't be that humongous. One shoulder is bigger than the other. (Did you use photos for these?)
For the uncolored face, I would guess that it isn't Diaes at all. He has too much of a 'hey-there-chump' expression on his face. But otherwise good, for another character.

Horse:
Omgomgomg. Wubz.
Though the outline could use slightly more contrast, because the horse blends too much in the night to my eyes. I'm NOT going to give any critique on anatomy, because I'll have a 99/100 chance of being baaaawwww'd at by Ally, and probably by you too.

As I said, keep up the work! I think I'm going to display the characters I've drawn for Clawmark... Just need to fix that dermn printer.

Heh thanks.. Yeah I know, I didn't really try to draw Diaes, it just suddenly reminded me a bit of him. Though Diaes is more power and stuff. But okay, without trying no success eh. Or at least that's what I tell myself.

Well, the shoulders are huge because I kind of include the extent as to where his clothing could ultimately go/reach. It stays a rough sketch. It's so annoying that I don't have a scanner.. In real it's so much easier to draw something of any value. I'm going to let it rest for a while, I think. Digital isn't working that well lol

About the horse; I wanted it to blend in, so I guess that it's great that it does then.. I'm not exactly finished with it yet, still have to do the throat and such. But I'm lazy. So yeah..
