| With a ragged gasp, Diaes shocked forward. His eyes were aflame with blood lust. For a moment, if just a moment, the vampire was completely absorbed with the dark nature. His hand shot out, without looking and grasped the cross. A sigh accompanied the burning light in his eyes as they both left him. His pallor had come back and he was breathing much more normally. His dark clothing was still stained by the blood that had leaked from him, but Diaes himself was no longer giving up life force. "I owe you a dept of gratitude, Shadow Roth," the voice was like steel being removed from a sheath and about as cold as the frigid hand that grasped the cross dangling from Shadow's hand. Releasing the twined nails, the claw-like hand retracted towards the body which rose up from the ground. "We move, now!" saying no more, he moved after Vladimir. |

| Vladimir, confused by the sudden change of Diaes, stood there, unblinking, unbreathing. As he noticed that Diaes stood up, and that he was walking towards him, Vladimir tensed slightly, at the thought of what Diaes could do to him. Then, as he noticed that Diaes was actually just continuing the path, Vladimir gave a sigh of relief, and continued on into the dense darkness, of the humid corridor that they loomed upon presently. _________________ +1 post.

| "Did you find the object of your quest, young Vladimir?" Diaes asked without looking back. Even the light fall of his boots reverberated around the empty hall. Long strides remained unbroken, yet the darkness around them was not letting up in the least. "Curses, but I do so begin to wish that I had trifle with one of those pawn shop watches that they tried to push on me back in that bazaar," in the quiet, Diaes's irritated grumble was incredibly audible. |

Vladimir, up to now, hesitant about triggering his gun to explode the door's locks, looked at the tall man Shadow had encountered. Vladimir was about to open his mouth to say, 'Well, small world,' just before Diaes had taken out a weapon. Vladimir opened his eyes wide, but didn't know what to do. By reflex, he pulled at the trigger of his gun. He screeched as he didn't want to do it now. An explosion that thrusted out sound and light came from the spark, and a rather coal-tainted Vladimir was hurled at Diaes, screeching like mad. |
The line "Well, small world," led me to believe otherwise. In truth I didn't/don't know how either Diaes or Vladimir fit into any of the chronology.

| Shadow, after raising an eyebrow at Diaes' sudden change in behaviour, also continued along tbe path, secretly glad that Vrael didn't act like that everytime someone tried the crucfix thing on him. _________________ Ianto: I have searched for the phrase "I shall walk the Earth and my hunger will know no bounds", but I keep get redirected to Weight Watchers.

| --We'll just have to continue. Vladimir said, 'Small World,' as in, 'A world where we meet alot of people without wanting them or the people come at bad timings.' BTW, Diaes, I sent you a pm, but you didn't look at it <.<;;-- Vladimir kept on walking, the echo of his heavy boots resonating through the corridor as if there were many people to repeat the sound. As if drops were falling and hitting a puddle. Vladimir slipped on something, and fell down, on his head. Legs in air, he fell down, and then rubbed his head. He looked down. He saw a thing that was kinda bizarre. A puddle? _________________ +1 post.

| Shadow stopped walking before she stood on Vladimir, and stood looking down at him. "What's the hold up?" She asked, but then saw the puddle. She crouched down, sniffing carefully. It smelt like water, but there was something else in it too. _________________ Ianto: I have searched for the phrase "I shall walk the Earth and my hunger will know no bounds", but I keep get redirected to Weight Watchers.

| Diaes halted his step to look back slowly. "Magic," he rasped and began walking back towards the pair. Crouching down low, the vampire pushed his coat out of the way as he bent his head down to hover just above the surface of the water. "I don't recognize it," he too sniffed, his pale nostrils flaring slightly, "But it is not completely of nature..." ooc//If my previous statement through Diaes makes for chronological issues, then consider it struck from the record, as it were. |

| 'That's normal,' Vladimir answered, approchaing his hand to the puddle, dripping his fingers in the liquid, then smudging it over his left glove, and smelling the faint odor, 'This water contains petrol.' Vladimir stood up quickly, looking up. 'We're under a petrol room.' _________________ +1 post.

| Diaes shook his head as he rose up to stand again at his full height, and looked up. "But there's water in that puddle, water that has been tampered with. Why would someone..." his eyes narrowed to slits as he concentrated, "Vladimir, that puddle means that there is a leak, does it not? The tainted water smells reminiscent of a corrosive material I once saw created through the use of... some rather arcane magic, but that is beyond the point. We are currently below a container full of highly flammable substance that is leaking into the confined space in which we are, at this time, somewhat trapped." A frown coated his face. "Vladimir, you are well versed in explosive materials, what is your recommendation?" his voice was incredibly calm, almost chatty. |

| Shadow agreed with the statement about the petrol, and subsequently ignored the personified emotion known as 'Panic' within the pocket dimension in her head. She started to think of what to do, and only one option came to mind. "Instead of just standing here, how about we get a move on?" She suggested lightly. _________________ Ianto: I have searched for the phrase "I shall walk the Earth and my hunger will know no bounds", but I keep get redirected to Weight Watchers.

| 'Petrol explodes, yes, but only if we light something onto it,' Vladimir answered. He reached for his hip, and he put the security back onto his gun. He stood up, looked upwards, and felt the ceiling where the leak came from. Humid. It's close, and it was recent. Vladimir started continuing down the path. If there is a petrol cave here, that means someone's exploiting it, if there is a hall just under it. I wonder why. _________________ +1 post.

| Diaes stared upward for a moment longer, only glancing away once when Vladimir had reached for his gun. A slight smile played across his lips before he turned to follow the others. His coat flared out around him as he moved quickly to catch the others. A small object glinted slightly in the darkness behind beside the pool, but nobody was there to see it reflecting light in the pitch black hall... |

| Vladimir turned his head, making sure that everyone was following. His supposition being agreed, he turned around once more, his feet scratching against the dirty floor, and continued to walk his path casually. The drips of petrol-mixed water were still heard long after Vladimir, Shadow and Diaes had walked away from it. Vladimir was indeed going to find out what was the meaning of all this. _________________ +1 post.
