			<description>Ok, so this is one of the best films i've seen in a very long time. 

It's about a guy called Claud from Oklahoma who goes to New York before he goes off to fight in the Vietnam war. While he's there, he meets this group of hippies (Berger, Woof, Hud and Jeanie) who do mad things coz they've got nothing to lose. They're pretty horrified at the idea that he's going to war and i totally agree with them.

This film speaks about a teacher who takes her students in hostage, almost unwillingly. (Can't tell you why I said that, look at the film.)

It's reall well made, and even the students use the language we hear everyday in this time. The racist, antisemitist insults we use everyday without our consent are used in here. (At least I hope I don't use any of them, I've never heard myself use 'em...)

It's set in 1989 - 1990 in Paris and is the story of an English writer from London, Christian (Ewan McGregor), who's telling the story of how he fell in love with a can-can dancer, Satine (Nicole Kidman), at the Moulin Rouge which was this kinda pub/pleasure house at Mont Martre (place in Paris).

The problem is that someone else falls in love with her as well. A duke called... i can't remember, he's known as 'the Duke in the film, so...
