Composed of the books Dragonsong, Dragonsinger, and Dragondrums, these books may very well be my favorite books of all time. Dragonsong and Dragonsinger are the two that really trip my trigger. They revolve around the life of the character, Menolly, who is undoubtedly one of the greatest characters that I have ever read. Given that this is just my personal opinion, I would recommend reading with care. Although, if you never listen to another word that comes out of my fingers, as it were, listen to me now when I say as loud as I possibly can, "READ THE BOOKS!"

YESYESYESYESYESYESYES. I never actually finished the third one due to the change in main character, Menolly is, in my personal opinion, a way more intresting main character than Pelwhats'isface.

So, pretty much what Whil said about Nausicaa, do for these.

Looks like I need to read these.
But I'm in France.

Anne McCaffrey is the writers name... I'd stake Prism's life on it...

I'll check the author's name later. Seems like a good book.
